Studentica - Corps Bremensia Göttingen Beer mug, 1906

colorless lead crystal glass, knight's jug in Göttingen style, 0.5 liters, conical body, faceted walls, star cut in the base, mounted pewter lid with ball handle, a porcelain plate set into the lid, finely painted on the outside with a full coat of arms, held by a knight with a flag and sword, dressed in the Bremen colors, with the motto in the coat of arms: Virtute duce comite fortuna! as well as the founding date 20. Juni 1827 with the motto: V.F.I.F.I., in the background Saaleck and Rudelsburg, inside cover with the dedication: U. Schwartzkopff Bremensiae s./l. E. Tanneberger Bremensiae z.fr.Erg. S.19GA06S., painter's mark C. Albrecht, good age-appropriate condition, h. 17 cm
Schwartzkopff moved to Bonn and became a Bonn Saxon. Tanneberger died in France in 1915.
