Framed Commemorative Ribbon of the Alsace-Lorraine Association, Infantry Regiment No. 92 Metz
Silk, printed, framed behind glass. A representative commemorative ribbon of the Alsace-Lorraine association of former members of the Infantry Regiment No. 92, Metz. The wide silk ribbon in light blue and gold colors is tied into a decorative bow and presented behind glass in a black, profiled wooden frame. Both ends of the ribbon bear the dedication in silver-colored lettering "GEWIDMET von der Els. Lothr. Vereinigung ehemaliger Angehöriger des Braunschw. Inft.-Regt. No 92 METZ". Eagle motifs on each end of the ribbon. Below the bow is a label with the inscription "Zur Erinnerung an das 10. jährige Stiftungsfest des Vereins ehem 92er am 18. und 19. Aug. 1912". Age-appropriate good condition, frame with signs of wear and paint loss, silk well preserved. 91 x 57 x 5 cm (HxWxD).
