333/- yellow gold (8 ct), solid men's ring with a cushion-shaped onyx plate in smooth bezel setting, upon which is applied a finely worked miniature of a Panzer assault badge from World War II: a tank surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath with an eagle sitting on a swastika, below the date "1939". The broad shank tapers conically downward and is polished, with shoulders flowing seamlessly into the setting, good condition, inner diameter 20 mm

Rings of this type, featuring applied miniature badges on an onyx ground, were frequently produced as private commissions in the post-war period or as commemorative pieces by former members of the armoured corps.
