Märklin Gauge 1 Electric Loco 5758 SBB Crocodile Be 6/8 II in original box

Detailed model of the legendary electric locomotive Be 6/8 II of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), known worldwide as the "Crocodile", by Märklin for Gauge 1 (item number 5758, running number 13 253). The heavy, green model of the freight train locomotive with fine roof pantographs and delicate linkage rests on rails with a decorative wooden base. The locomotive is delivered in the original grey anniversary packaging (125 years of Märklin), which shows signs of storage wear. This is a played-with model with age-appropriate signs of use. Electronics respond (lights on, motor hums), but the drive mechanism is stuck due to storage (hardened grease). Maintenance and cleaning strictly required. The absence of smaller, delicate add-on parts cannot be completely ruled out.

360-degree photo on our website. The Swiss "Crocodile" is one of the most famous and distinctive locomotives in railway history. This impressive model in 1:32 scale (Gauge 1) was produced as a special series for the 125th anniversary of Märklin in a limited edition of 3300 pieces. It is an extremely impressive collector's item that captivates with its heavy construction and extremely high level of detail.
