Silver. Set of nine commemorative coins of the German Democratic Republic, each 10 Mark, in original green coin holders. Obverse with portrait or thematic depiction with dates and name inscription, reverse with the GDR state coat of arms and value „10 MARK". Includes issues for Johann Gutenberg, Albrecht Dürer, Heinrich Heine and Bertolt Brecht. Condition extremely fine, partly mint state. D. 31 mm each. Total weight 153 g.
The 10 Mark commemorative coins of the GDR were issued between 1966 and 1990 in silver or copper-nickel-zinc. The pieces offered here are in original collector holders with correspondingly good preservation.
