In the foreground, a woman tapping beer. A motto encircles the scene. Below the image, the owner's name "Bernh. Mölau". The reverse is inscribed with "Andenken a. m. Dienst b. d. 8. Comp. Westf. Inftr. Regmt. No. 17 Mühlhausen 1886" (Memorial to the Service of the 8th Company, Westf. Infantry Regiment No. 17, Mühlhausen, 1886). The shaft is made of turned horn with a hose and tassels. The ember catcher lid is attached to a metal chain, age-appropriate condition, porcelain bowl with slight signs of use, gold decoration rubbed, the ember catcher is dented and partially slightly torn, the upper piece with the mouthpiece has chips and heavy signs of use, l. 72 cm
