KPM Berlin dessert plate "Bleu Mourant"
The base bears a scepter mark with a red imperial orb. An elegant dessert plate made of white porcelain by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin (KPM), executed in the "Neuzierat" style, a design by Friedrich Elias Meyer from the 18th century, presented here in a neoclassical reissue from the second half of the 20th century. The base of the plate is decorated in the center with a delicate floral bouquet in blue camaieu painting, accompanied by delicate, hand-painted golden leaves. The rim features a raised, curved decoration, underlaid with a light blue background and additionally richly gilded. The elegant coloring in bleu mourant—a pastel, slightly faded blue—underscores the delicate ornamentation and lends the object a classic appearance, good condition, d. 19.5 cm
