Medal group WW 1. with Iron Cross 2nd Class and Honour Cross of the World War, German Empire
Silver and bronze-finished base metal, two-part ribbon bar with Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 and Honour Cross for Combatants 1914–1918, mounted on metal backplate with hook fastener. Iron Cross with blackened iron core and silver frame, ring stamped on reverse with “K.M.” (likely Karl Maybauer, Berlin), Honour Cross with applied oak leaf wreath and crossed swords, reverse stamped “B.H. L.” (likely B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim). Includes an additional mounted ribbon segment in black and white, 10 mm wide, possibly for a miniature version of the Iron Cross. Age-appropriate condition with light signs of wear.
